"Guo Lan" - a fruit basket that can be found as the counter centerpiece at many Asian families when celebrating the Lunar New Year. Eating or giving fruit is a beloved Lunar New Year tradition, expressing love and thought to bring good luck. Golden-hued fruits like oranges, tangerines and kumquats are believed to bring wealth to those who eat them, as their colors are reminiscent of gold and wealth.

Inspired by the family gathering moments, we wanted to create a piece of jewelry that encapsulates the precious memory by turning the classic look of handled fruit basket to a pair of contemporary huggie hoops. The statement earrings add much flare to any outfit compared to traditional plain hoops, be ready for all the compliments!
