Our Story - A Journey To Fair Pricing Jewelry
Mooie was born out of frustration
We love the uniqueness and quality of big name designers, but were not happy with how they crushed our saving goals. Meanwhile the rough finish and chemical exposure of cheap fashion jewelries were just unsettling for sensitive skin. Quality, design and price just never seem to meet in harmony.
And that's why we stepped up, it can't be that hard right?
After a business consultant, a designer and a programmer from San Francisco, CA made tours to 12 manufacturers (and audited 3) around the globe, our mission became much clear to us. We are here to create a place where one can shop at ease with:
- No false advertisement (Not all gold plated are gold vermeil, and all plating eventually tarnishes no matter how they were advertised!!)
- No mix in cheap or harmful materials (You won't believe how many factories we found who supplies big name jewelry brands without proper testing...)
- No retail surcharges ( We believe a brand is only valuable when it can bring value to its customers)

Our Mission
Real fair pricing, with no sacrifice to quality. At Mooie, all pieces are under $150, always. From genuine 18k Gold/ Rhodium plated metal to solid Sterling Silver, and to pieces decorated with hand cut, highest grade natural gem stones (topaz, opal, moonstones... you name it!), our promise stands. We always want more for our customers, even if it means less for ourselves.
Varieties and inclusiveness. We believe fashion should give more choices that fit into different lifestyles. When it comes to jewelry, no one should be bound to a single tone of metal or material just because it’s trendy or most cost efficient to make. That’s why we went above and beyond to offer our flagship collections in two tones, even if it means more steps in the way. We also provide a variety of gender-neutral styles as only you can define who, what, wear.
